Overview

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a General Maintenance Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, painting, is required. 2nd shift position. No weekend work.

**Pay $20.00 an hour:** or The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

2nd shift hours - flexible between 2pm to 10pm or 3pm to 11pm or 4pm to 12pm.

Position Summary Details

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a General Maintenance Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

+ Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures

+ Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities

+ Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary

Qualifications

+ Must be 18 years of age or older

+ Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.

+ A valid State Drivers License is required.

+ Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.

+ Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.

+ Must posses organizational skills.

+ Must be able to perform unsupervised.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Customer Service Experience

+ 1 yr of similar work experience
