Overview
Position Summary
ABM Industries is seeking a skilled General Construction Coordinator III to support tool installation and construction coordination efforts at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This mid-level role is responsible for managing construction scopes, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring alignment with Samsung’s standards and ABM’s quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
+ - Coordinate tool installation and general construction activities across multiple trades and subcontractors.
+ - Assist in managing project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation for assigned scopes.
+ - Support site logistics, safety compliance, and access control.
+ - Review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders with guidance from senior coordinators.
+ - Help resolve field-level issues and escalate concerns to project leadership as needed.
+ - Participate in commissioning, punch list resolution, and system turnover activities.
+ - Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
Qualifications
+ - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
+ - 5+ years of experience in construction coordination, ideally in semiconductor or high-tech environments.
+ - Working knowledge of construction systems, cleanroom protocols, and project sequencing.
+ - Proficient in MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, and other project management tools.
+ - OSHA 30 certification preferred.
