    SUMMARY OF JOB

    Responsible for the provision of medical and behavioral health support to individuals residing in our licensed 6400 facilities and CPS programming. Supervise all nurses and arrange for scheduling hands-on nursing coverage 24/7. Provide training, education, and oversight on health-related topics to the direct support professionals (non-medical staff), Redeemer Health, and community members. Provide hands-on nursing when needed.

The ID Program integrates health care with other supports and leverages Holy Redeemer’s expertise to enhance the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities

    RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

    + RN (Registered Nurse)

    + Minimum five years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities; willingness to learn will be considered

    + Experience in tracheostomy care strongly preferred

    + Certified PA Department of Human Services Medication Administration Trainer preferred

    + Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate data systems

    + Proven ability to facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders

    + Attention to detail and proficient writing skills

    + Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with physicians

    + Valid PA driver’s license and willingness to transport residents

    + Satisfactory background check results including but not limited to Pennsylvania Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 34 Criminal Clearance and Act 73 FBI Clearance
