    Overview

    Position Summary

    ABM Industries is seeking an entry-level General Construction Coordinator I to support construction coordination activities at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in construction management and offers hands-on experience in site coordination, documentation, and safety compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist in coordinating general construction activities under supervision.

    + Support site logistics, safety compliance, and access control procedures.

    + Help maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.

    + Participate in field walks and assist with punch list tracking.

    + Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely task completion.

    + Attend project meetings and take notes for distribution.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by senior coordinators.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

    + 0–2 years of experience in construction or project coordination.

    + Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Bluebeam or Procore is a plus.

    + Strong communication and organizational skills.

    + OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
