    Job Description Summary

    Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    + Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.

    + Typically managing hourly employee populations.

    + Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.

    + Prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.

    + In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

    + Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.

    + Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.

    + A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent.

    + Provides informal guidance to new team members.

    + Ownership of FLIGHT DECK application and sustainment within span of control

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

    + Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing experience

    + Experience in Hot/Cold Forming desirable

    + Strong oral and written communication skills

    The salary range for this position is $ 83,800.00 - 112,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
