The Business Data Analyst provides analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting for the division and is a subject matter expert for data quality. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities
+ Designs and builds reports as requested.
+ Collaborates with end users and other members of the division to collect and coordinate business requirements for the use of analytics and reporting.
+ Responsible for the prioritization of ad-hoc data requests.
+ Works with customers to meet data needs of departments in various areas.
+ Understands data flow of systems and works with related teams to improve data integrations.
+ Works with data warehouse architects to translate requirements into technical specifications.
+ Participates as a team member in various projects and contributes to the overall goal/objective for the team.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
+ Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Tools.
+ Solid analytical and critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to identify issues, prioritize and problem solving resolution.
+ Knowledge and ability of how to collect data from different information sources and distribute them to users; ability to use this information to simplify information systems and make sound business decisions.
+ Excellent verbal/written communications and customer-relations skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications** **Required
+ Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency.
+ Experience conducting data analysis .
+ Experience with relational database design.
+ Experience in using reporting software packages (Excel, SQL or Business Objects, Tableau).
