The Quality Inspector's role is to maintain the Vollrath Standard Quality with Supplier Products and control Service Parts Inventories.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Perform reworks, FQA's and Warranty returns inspections. Inspect all items on PINS for accuracy.
+ Report to SQE/Engineering any items that are out of spec.
+ Maintain open communications between internal/external customers.
+ Support Vollrath satellite facilities as a resource when needed.
+ Photograph and record spare parts to assist with CSR/TSR documentation.
+ Perform FQA's for items received on PINS to get them received to stock.
+ Keep up with receiving Service Parts, Incoming PO's, Quality Inspections, Medical Equipment and Containment Requests.

QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience with blueprint reading, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Technical School or College Degree. Computer skills. JDE, KIKS, KRONOS, Word, Excel.
+ Be able to communicate well with others.
+ Be self-motivated.
+ Be able to start an assignment and follow it through to completion in a timely manner.
+ Knowledge on the use of electrical testing equipment, set-up of test stands for all types of inspections. Read and prove owner's manuals are correct and up to date.
+ Work safely to avoid injury and/or damage to equipment.
+ Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
