**Pay Rate:** $72.54 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **Aeronautical Engineer** to join our team, partnering with a global leader in aerospace technology. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that shape the future of aviation and defense. As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you’ll perform analysis, design, and testing for complex materials, structures, and functional systems that define the next generation of aerospace performance.
What You’ll Do
+ Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex materials, structural components, and functional systems.
+ Apply engineering principles and mathematical methods to define and solve technical problems.
+ Develop, refine, and release design data after review and validation.
+ Conduct detailed studies to adapt and enhance existing designs for improved performance and manufacturability.
+ Utilize advanced structural and design tools, including Siemens NX, to execute and validate designs.
+ Plan and manage test programs to evaluate structural and system designs.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and on-time project execution.
+ Engage with senior technical personnel and customers on significant design and integration matters.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with **5+ years of related experience** , or a Master’s degree with **3+ years of experience** .
+ Proven experience in **mechanical design, structural analysis, and tolerance analysis** .
+ Proficiency with **Siemens NX** and **GD&T principles** .
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to precision and quality. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**
Preferred Qualifications
+ Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
+ Experience in **integration and hardware assembly builds** .
+ Background in developing and managing **test programs** for aerospace systems.

**Pay Details:** $72.54 per hour
