**Location:** Tukwila, WA | **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM | **Type:** Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant
**Starting Pay :** $39.17 /hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Manufacturing Planner** to support the **USAF E7 Production Engineering Program** with one of the world’s foremost aerospace innovators. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to transforming complex designs into advanced aircraft that define the future of defense and aerospace technology.
What You’ll Do
As a Manufacturing Planner, you’ll take ownership of critical planning functions to ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
+ Translating engineering designs into clear, buildable manufacturing processes.
+ Coordinating suppliers, materials, tools, and technologies to meet production and delivery targets.
+ Reviewing and approving supplier data to confirm compliance with manufacturing requirements.
+ Creating and managing tooling requirements from concept through end-of-use.
+ Performing producibility assessments and providing design-for-manufacturing feedback.
+ Drafting, updating, and reviewing procedures to meet both business and regulatory standards.
You’ll work under general direction, with room to apply your expertise and judgment to drive process excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
+ Experience with **Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)** or similar work instruction tools.
+ Education/experience typically acquired through:
+ Associate degree + 3+ years of related experience, **or**
+ Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of related experience, **or**
+ 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, configuration control, and documentation standards.
+ Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and supply chain functions. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

**Pay Details:** $39.17 per hour
