Role: Workstation Engineer

Duration: Full time

The Workstation Engineer’s role is to support and maintain the Organizations computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all client desktop hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.

Requirements:

+ 5+ years of related experience

Skills and Experience:

+ Excellent customer service skills to work effectively with clients and vendors.

+ Candidate must have extensive hands-on Windows 10 support experience.

+ Ability to install/deploy Windows based computers from image or manual installation.

+ Active Directory User, Group, GPO administration.

+ Prefer experience with environments with at least 1000 systems.

+ MS Office support.

+ Possess a working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations, and have strong software experience.

+ Amazon VDI workstation creation

+ Client VPN support, preferably Palo Alto GlobalProtect

+ PowerShell scripting is a bonus.

+ Knowledge in web browsers (Chrome, IE, Edge)

+ Efficient in preparing and sharing technical documentation using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

+ Strong written, communication, and presentation skills.

+ Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

+ Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for process improvement.

+ Desire to learn new skills, take on new tasks as needed, and work as part of a team.
