Description
SAIC is seeking Site Survey Leads to support the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires up to 30% travel within the United States.
Job Responsibilities may include:
+ Communicating with stakeholders to develop FDIO FDTS installation requirements.
+ Reading and modifying site drawings.
+ Identifying hardware and software needs.
+ Developing and presenting informational briefings to stakeholders.
+ Developing detailed engineering reports.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
+ Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains.
+ Experience with cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber).
+ Experience in integrating work efforts involving National Airspace System (NAS) decision support systems.
+ Experience providing support and communications at operational field facilities during site surveys.
+ Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language, including the ability to summarize discussions and action items.
+ Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Required Clearance:
+ US Citizenship.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
