Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead our retail e-commerce initiatives and manage relationships with licensees. This role is responsible for driving online sales growth, optimizing digital retail strategies, and overseeing licensed partnerships to ensure brand alignment and revenue generation.
What You Will Do:
Retail E-commerce:
+ Develop and execute e-commerce strategies across owned and third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Walmart.com).
+ Manage product listings, digital merchandising, and promotional campaigns.
+ Analyze performance metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, ROAS) and optimize accordingly.
+ Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
+ Stay current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and competitor activity.
Licensing Management:
+ Oversee relationships with licensees, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and contractual obligations.
+ Negotiate licensing agreements, renewals, and royalty structures.
+ Coordinate product development and approvals with licensees and internal stakeholders.
+ Monitor market trends and identify new licensing opportunities.
+ Ensure timely reporting and performance tracking of licensee activities.
What You Will Have:
**Planning: Tactical,** Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
**Analytical Thinking** : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
**Flexibility and Adaptability:** Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
**Influencing:** Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
**Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
**Relationship Management:** Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Project Management:** Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. **.
**Requirements Analysis** : Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
+ Experience in retail e-commerce and licensing management.
+ Strong understanding of digital retail platforms and licensing frameworks.
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
+ Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Excel, etc.) and e-commerce platforms.
+ Experience with global licensing programs.
+ Familiarity with retail merchandising and buying.
+ Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
+ Team lead experience.
+ Contract negotiations and understanding is a plus.
+ Proficiency in Spanish is preferred

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
