The Cat Rental & Used HR team does not _support_ the business, we are the business. An HR Business Partner’s role is to help build a winning team and a winning culture in our organization. This role provides direction and guidance to a global network of leaders and employees to ensure business success in matters of HR policies and practices, performance management, employee and leader development, compensation and benefits, culture and engagement, compliance, and ensuring a safe work environment. An HR Business Partner in our organization will apply an enterprise mindset to all challenges and opportunities and will embrace customer service as the defining brand of the Cat Rental & Used HR team.
What You Will Do:
+ Help leaders develop and deploy strategic workforce plans and footprint optimization, develop recruiting strategies, build talent pipelines, and build organizational capability over time.
+ Collaborate with senior management as a strategic advisor to help identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
+ Promote employee engagement, retention, and performance as part of our winning culture.
+ Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
+ Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
What You Have:
+ **Business Acumen:** Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Global Perspective:** Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
+ **Knowledge of Organization:** Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
+ **HR:** Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures, and policies regarding human resources management.
+ **Talent Management:** Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
