Minnesota Specialty Health Systems (MSHS) has a rewarding opportunity for a Mental Health Professional to provide clinical services for individuals with serious mental illness and possible co-occurring disorders. As an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) facility, MSHS Brainerd focuses on rehabilitative education, building interpersonal skills, and developing community engagement skills, as well as increasing independence and self-management of their illness, behavior, and emotion.
Job duties include:
+ Complete diagnostic assessment on clients including face to face interviews, mental status examination, and cognitive function
+ Collaborate with the Treatment Director/Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor in treatment planning
+ Provide technical assistance and clinical consultation to staff to enhance the program’s clinical capacity.
+ Provide clinical input on program design, admissions, discharges, utilization management, clinical policies, and procedures.
+ This position will be involved in reviewing referrals and providing on-call services
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must meet the requirements for a Mental Health Professional as defined in Sec. 245I.04 MN Statutes, subdivision 2 and must meet the following criteria:
• Possess and maintain a valid MN driver’s license
• Master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field; and
• Licensure/Certification in the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional including LICSW, LPCC, OR LMFT)
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of or experience working in 245I

Copies of the college degree/diploma are acceptable ONLY if it clearly identifies the field in which it was earned.
Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) healthcare facilities require employees to provide documentation that they are free from tuberculosis (TB) through a blood test prior to employment. DCT does not accept TB skin testing.
