Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As the **Senior Director of Advertising Sales – Food** , you will lead a high-performing team responsible for driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth across Walmart’s Food vertical. You will:

+ **Own the sales strategy** and execution for key Food advertisers, ensuring alignment with Walmart Connects broader goals.

+ **Lead and develop** a team of sales leaders, account managers, and campaign strategists to scale advertiser success.

+ **Build deep relationships** with C-suite stakeholders at major food brands, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

+ **Drive innovation** by identifying new advertising opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Analytics).

+ **Leverage data and insights** to inform campaign strategies and demonstrate ROI to clients.

+ **Represent Walmart Connect** at industry events and in key markets such as NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Who You Are

+ A **seasoned sales executive** with experience in digital advertising, preferably in Food.

+ Proven track record of **leading and scaling sales teams** , with a history as a second or third line people manager.

+ Deep understanding of **programmatic, search, display, video, and integrated sponsorships** .

+ Strong **consultative selling skills** and experience working with C-level executives.

+ Comfortable navigating **matrixed organizations** and collaborating across departments.

+ Passionate about **data-driven marketing** and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

+ Experience in **retail media networks** or working with large retailers.

+ Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 2: 8 years’ experience in business development, market development, or related area.
