Senior Project Director
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
KBR is looking for a Senior Project Director to lead multi-billion-dollar LNG projects from PreFEED through FEED and EPC phases. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large LNG projects and knowledge in implementing various liquefaction and pretreatment technologies. Experience in forming and managing joint venture partnerships is also preferred.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
+ Assures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success.
+ Delivers expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget and schedule performance.
+ Knowledgeable of and works in Joint Venture environment, managing partners as well as Client.
+ Serves as prime point of contact between the client and company.
+ Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
+ Manages and coordinates activities of all project personnel by direct supervision, through subordinates or through joint ventures, alliances, etc.
+ In the proposal phase, works closely with Sales to evaluate and interpret requirements and works with Legal and Commercial to evaluate and negotiate contract terms and conditions. Usually serves as overall proposal manager, directing a pursuit team.
+ Defines precise scope of work and identify changes between the original proposal and final contractual agreement.
+ Negotiates changes with the client.
+ Plans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan.
+ Keeps the client and company advised of project status.
+ Leads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project.
+ Abides by our business ethics.
+ Job role is independently accountable for a large staff or support arm of the organization or a single profit/loss or revenue center, major product line, or support function.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
+ Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and possesses a P.E. license.
+ Minimum of 20 years of experience in related projects with an average of 25+ years which includes several years’ experience at the project manager level.
+ They should have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and be capable of interfacing with and influencing senior management within both KBR and Client organizations.
+ Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the KBR way of working.
