About the Sourcing Team

Our sourcing team operates at the intersection of merchandise, planning, and supply chain, ensuring Walmart remains a leader in efficiency, quality, and value. We drive business continuity by building strategic vendor relationships, supporting company growth through direct imports, and integrating ethical and sustainability standards. Every team member’s work directly impacts Walmart’s mission to deliver Every Day Low Prices and outstanding value to millions of customers.

What you’ll do:

+ Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned products and regions.

+ Oversee item-level sourcing programs, analyzing market trends and seasonal changes.

+ Negotiate vendor contracts to secure optimal cost, quality, and business continuity.

+ Provide insights to guide merchandise flow and replenishment.

+ Build and maintain supplier relationships to support company goals.

What you’ll bring:

+ Expertise in commodity sourcing, vendor negotiation, and cost analysis.

+ Experience managing multi-year contracts and complex vendor matrices.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
