    The Mobility Programs Fleet Operations team is responsible for the on-wing support and monitoring of the C-17, KC-46 and C-390 fleets of military aircraft. As a key member of the Mobility Programs Logistics team, the Engine Health Management (EHM) Engineer will primarily be responsible for the support of the KC46 fleets by monitoring the health of F139 (PW4000-94") engines, as well as supporting EHM activity for the C-17 fleet.

    What You Will Do

    + Work with ADEM team to establish data processing of F139 data

    + Review engine performance trending parameters and other data to assess overall fleet health

    + Identify problem engines and/or adverse fleet reliability or performance trends

    + Support field and test cell issues in engine health analysis and troubleshooting of engine abnormalities

    + Partner with IT to develop/maintain ADEM and enhancements, and work to develop and improve proactive engine health monitoring capabilities

    + Assist Flight Safety in analysis of field-related events

    + Research and recommend new innovative activities aimed at developing and improving proactive engine health monitoring capabilities

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Bachelor’s Degree

    + 8 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of engineering experience

    + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required due to government contract. ( US DoD) U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    + Strong knowledge of ADEM / EngineWise

    + Previous PW4000-94", PW2000 or large commercial engine experience

    + Prior experience working directly with the external customer and/or previous USAF experience

    + Knowledge of engine performance analysis, diagnostic & trending tools and techniques

    + Self-motivated with the ability to work and innovate with limited oversight

    + Strong computer skills including expertise with MS Excel, and knowledge of or desire to learn data visualization tools and programming languages including Python, SQL, and Visual Basic

    **Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
