We are currently seeking a Process Consultant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Job Description:
Technology Process Consultant
As a Technology Process Consultant, you will play a role in analyzing, designing, and documenting technology project processes. Specifically, this role will be to analyze and document processes related to the planning and execution of Windows based server upgrades with the goal of moving to a repeatable business-as-usual process.
Your expertise will help drive consistency in execution, clarify roles and responsibilities, and ensure there is a baseline for further process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze existing processes to understand approaches for performing project and operational work
+ Hold workshops or working sessions, as needed, to gather information on existing processes that may or may not be documented
+ Document processes into process maps, procedures and/or run books to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
+ Document runbooks to include steps from identification, through planning, upgrades to decommissioning
+ Identify process variants given technology starting point and platform designs
+ Document and map required deliverables to steps
+ Document ownership, roles and responsibilities
+ Review/revise metrics and reporting used to monitor the progress across processes
+ Recommend and propose improvements to documented processes
+ Develop materials to socialize and hold sessions to train stakeholders on the processes
+ Work with project managers to pilot processes and documentation to ensure accuracy and make updates as required
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in process design or process improvement, preferably within the financial services industry
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create operational documentation
+ Strong MS Office skills to create consulting quality deliverables
+ Proven consulting experience, with the ability to gather information in an ambiguous environment
+ Strong analytical skills and experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
+ Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is **($80.00 - 100.00/hour).** This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
