Description:
Position Purpose:** **
The Unit Facilitator (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) works in a collaborative environment at [Hospital Name] to provide safe, quality health care services & / or assistance to patients under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures.
What You Will Do:** ** ** **
+ Employment Type/Shift:Part Time, Every other weekend 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM
+ Responsible for administrative role to coordinate & facilitate patient care.
+ Schedule appointments, answer phones, first point of contact for patients, support medical record maintenance / updates, handle medical billing, fill out insurance forms, arrange for laboratory or other diagnostic services & handle financial records.
+ Provides customer service to patients, families & members of the healthcare team.
+ May perform companion / attendant duties & may occasionally perform select Activities of Daily Living (ADL).

Minimum Qualifications:** ** ** **
+ Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.
+ Certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the State of Pennsylvania.
+ Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
