Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and brings creativity, organization, and initiative. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the development of proposals and qualifications packages and marketing materials that tell our story, strengthen our brand, and win new work.Join a fast-growing national firm with clear opportunities for advancement to Marketing Specialist and beyond. Responsibilities
+ Lead development and execution of complex proposals, qualifications, and presentations for high-priority pursuits.
+ Conduct market intelligence research and competitive analysis to help inform go/no-go decisions and win strategies.
+ Participate as needed in business development strategies, differentiated value propositions, and client relationship initiatives.
+ Lead creation and continuous improvement of marketing collateral including resumes, project sheets, case studies, qualifications, and award submissions.
+ Develop compelling, client-focused content that demonstrates deep understanding of client needs and technical solutions.
+ Enforce brand standards across all materials, ensuring consistency in voice and visual identity.
+ Leverage strong knowledge of the organization's specialty areas to create targeted, strategic messaging and marketing materials.
+ Serve as a strategic resource and asset to project teams, providing marketing expertise and guidance.
+ Drive process improvements to enhance proposal quality, efficiency, and win rates.
+ Share knowledge generously and mentor junior marketing staff and technical personnel as required.
+ Lead or contribute to corporate and client-facing events, conferences, and industry networking activities as required.
+ Maintain integrity of CRM system (e.g., Unanet), ensuring accurate tracking of pursuits and business intelligence.
+ Generate insights from marketing data to measure effectiveness and inform strategic planning.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
+ 4+ years of progressive marketing experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry.
+ Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into client-focused narratives.
+ Demonstrated expertise as a solid contributor with ability to manage multiple, high-stakes projects simultaneously.
+ Experience with CRM/database platforms (Unanet or similar).
+ Proven track record as a resource and mentor to collaborative and virtual teams.
+ Participation in industry events and professional organizations.• Portfolio demonstrating successful proposals or marketing campaigns.
+ Professional involvement in industry organizations (SMPS, AIA, ACEC, AGC, ULI); CPSM designation a plus.
+ Experience with digital marketing platforms (Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, Hootsuite).
