Become a member of Delta’s World Class Domestic PRM team as
a Domestic Revenue Management Specialist. Delta’s Revenue Management (RM)
professionals are responsible for maximizing the revenue generated on each
flight and customer segment by aligning passenger demand with willingness to
pay to offer the optimal mix of fare products. Core to Delta’s industry leading
revenue results, each Specialist uses a rigorous, innovative set of demand management
and competitive pricing strategies. Every Revenue Management Specialist blends
the art of demand management with the science of analytical expertise to create
the right price for each customer on every flight.
As part of the department onboarding process, you will
participate in a training cohort with the expectation of successful completion
of the training courses and knowledge
DOM PRM Team Functions
+ If placed in a Pricing role, you will monitor, initiate andcommunicate industry pricing actions including changes to fare levels, farerules, policies, and pricing strategy execution
+ Proactively manage Delta’s fare structure including pricesand fare rules
+ Identify and analyze market issues and trends, determiningappropriate pricing actions, filing of actions, and post-audit assessment ofactions
+ If placed in an Inventory management role, you will beresponsible for flight level revenue optimization by properly valuing ourpassengers and forecasting future demand levels
+ Monitor and update the flight level demand forecasts throughthe analysis of historical and future booking trends, the pricing environment,industry capacity trends, the competitive landscape, and other factors
+ Establish and maintain the flight level overbookingforecasts through the analysis of no-show behavior trends
+ Own and manage high revenue impact markets with complexdynamics, competitive pressures, and strategic importance.
+ Use various and complex high-level dashboards, prescriptiveto descriptive analysis, along with market specific data, to create anappropriate customer offer to best segment customers and maximize revenue
+ Diagnose, interpret, and communicate basic marketperformance of revenue stats: LF, Yield, RASM, local vs. flow, drivers andactions
+ Evaluate performance and post-departure trends to identifyand leverage future opportunities while maximizing the revenue potential foreach market
+ Performe frequent ad-hoc analyses related to the assignedmarkets
+ Communicate market trends, updates, recommendations andoverall performance results to Revenue Management leaders and key stakeholderswithin the Commercial team
+ Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, providing guidance onmarket strategy, tools, and best practices.
+ Provide technical support to other revenue management groupsand both internal and external distribution channels and reporting
+ Work cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Pricing,Network Planning,
+ Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensurealignment on market level strategies
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in Revenue Management,Pricing, Inventory, or related analytical roles.
+ Detail-oriented, analytical ability are required
+ Strong presentation, public speaking and writtencommunication skills are required
+ Demonstrate ability to manage the frequent market dynamicchanges quickly and function in a high pace environment
+ Must be able to set priorities in a time sensitiveenvironment based on revenue impact and be able to manage severalresponsibilities at once
+ Must be intellectually curious, interested in problemsolving where multiple variables are impacting market performance
+ Must be able to work efficiently as part of a team and as anindividual contributor
+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software isrequired
+ Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work inthe United States
