    Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone who is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials.

    Pay Rate:

    + Entry Rate: $18.04

    + 3 months Progression Increase: $19.13

    + Shift differential $0.50

    Shift: B-Shift (12-hour shift overnight, 3 days a week)

    + Sunday-Tuesday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

    + Wednesday 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM

    Primary Objective:

    Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or shipping area.

    Major Function and Scope:

    + Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

    + Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

    + Operates forklift equipment.

    + Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

    + Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

    + Performs other related duties as required.

    Experience and Knowledge Required:

    + High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.

    + 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.

    + Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.

    + Accurate measurement capability.

    + Ability to understand and speak basic English.

    + Ability to work safely and conscientiously.

    + Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
