    **Position Purpose:** The Senior Director, Business Insights role functions in a strategic analytics capacity, driving the identification and execution of cross-functional data and analytics initiatives by ensuring alignment of business needs, analytics capabilities, and technology deployments. This individual has overall leadership responsibility for cross-functional data initiatives designed to improve organizational efficiency, customer engagement and satisfaction, and data and analytics standards. This individual works at the cross-section between Analytics, Finance, Strategy, and Information Technology.

    + Prioritize and direct the planning and execution of enterprise-wide analytics projects and strategic initiatives, supporting the translation of business goals into actionable solutions

    + Provide senior leadership support and partnership to development efforts between business and technical partners

    + Interface with health plan and corporate executive leadership to ensure effective communication and visibility of strategic intent to analytic teams

    + Collaborate with leaders across analytic domains to ensure strong partnerships, align all business needs, leverage cross-functional skills, and co-develop valuable analytic solutions

    + Lead strategic partnerships and governance, aligning analytics and corporate strategies and bridging business needs to analytic technology strategy and execution

    + Serve as primary point of analytics accountability to customers by overseeing the development, implementation, execution, and optimization of performance management efforts

    + Lead governance and alignment efforts across all analytic functions

    + Ensure comprehensive operational support by providing critical strategic functions such as project management, change management, and talent development strategy

    + Set strategic direction of and lead continuous quality improvement efforts

    + Set strategic focus of organizational development goals, creating efforts and efficiencies that improve the effectiveness of the analytics organization

    + Mentor, manage, and ensure the continuous development of a team of leaders and team members of various professional backgrounds

    **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or IT, healthcare administration, statistics, or related field. 8+ years of experience in general business, analytics or IT, managing cross-functional teams on large projects, or other direct management/supervisory experience, guiding the strategic development and deployment of a portfolio of analytic services and technologies in partnership with analytics leads and business partners. Experience in healthcare or within a consulting organization preferred. Direct experience in strategic planning and solutioning preferred. Broad exposure and understanding of data and analytic technologies and appropriate application of these technologies in a business performance environment preferred. Experience in technology product ownership, development, deployment, and user adoption preferred. Experience in organizational performance management, continuous improvement and customer feedback mechanisms, or change management preferred. Experience in communication and change management, learning and development, or human resources preferred.Pay Range: $145,100.00 - $268,800.00 per year

     

    Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
