    The American Express Global Dining team sits within the USCS organization. Our mission is to connect the world’s best restaurants with the world’s best customers through a trusted and innovative global Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, built on the promise of access and unforgettable experiences.

    About the Role

    The Global Dining Digital Product, Business Development, and Rooam team is responsible for developing and designing our suite of digital products, sourcing and signing new partnerships, and running the operations of Rooam. The **Manager Assistant** will report to the Chief Operating Officer, Global Dining and Head of Rooam, and will be responsible for a broad range of activities including strategic communications and human capital initiatives to help ensure the business objectives are achieved. The MA will be a key contributor to the COO’s executive office and leadership team, working closely with the leaders, key business partners, and other Dining As. The successful candidate will possess outstanding thought leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills, and will have a proven record of excellence operating independently and within a high performing team environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support the COO Executive Office with overall planning and day-to-day operations, acting as a thought partner on various initiative and projects

    + Partner with the COO’s leadership team and other ‘As’ to create and drive organizational strategy including goals and key priorities, strategic planning, and support on ad hoc initiatives

    + Drive colleague engagement initiatives across the team, including organizing roundtables, Give2Gether campaign, intern program support, and colleague survey action plans

    + **Support the COO and leadership team management and administration of quarterly/annual processes (goal setting, scorecard management, year-end performance reviews, talent assessments, business planning).**

    + **Craft presentations and updates for the team, senior leaders and internal stakeholders on key business imperatives, priorities and performance.**

    + **Build partnerships across the Amex Global Dining Office and key American Express partners, acting as a key interface for business partners.**

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Highly motivated self-starter who can provide strategic thought leadership and willing to jump into any issue or project

    + Easily adaptable, comfortable with change, and navigating through ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities at one time

    + Experience operating outside your comfort zone, ability to learn quickly, work effectively with little direction, and take the lead where appropriate

    + Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations)

    + Strong interpersonal skills, being able to build trust and relationships quickly across the team and with key stakeholders, work well with others, and keep a pulse on team morale

    + Strong communication and storytelling skills both verbally and in written presentations, being able to think strategically and creatively to tell a story

    + Ability to deliver results in a complex, matrixed environment, and lead others even with limited direct authority

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Operates with the utmost discretion and integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

    Qualifications

    Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
