Position Summary:
The Men’s Senior Denim Designer develops and oversees the creation of seasonal denim collections, from trend research to final production. Responsibilities include sketching designs, selecting fabrics and washes, creating detailed tech packs, leading fit sessions, and collaborating with technical, production, and merchandising teams to ensure design integrity and alignment with brand vision and business goals. This role requires strong technical knowledge of denim fabric and expertise in wash, creative problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD software, and involves managing junior designers and communicating with overseas manufacturers.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
+ **Design & Concept Development:** Researching seasonal trends, market demands, wash palettes, and fabrics to create innovative denim styles and dynamic collections that align with the seasonal brand concepts.
+ **Material & Wash Development:** Designing seasonal wash and fabric stories and manages their development from concept to final approval.
+ **Technical Execution:** Creating detailed technical packs (tech packs) with sketches, construction details, and specifications for production.
+ **Fit & Quality:** Leading fit sessions, providing clear feedback on garment adjustments, and ensuring product consistency and quality across all sizes.
• **Collaboration:** Working closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, technical design, and supply to achieve product execution and business objectives
+ **Project Management:** Overseeing the product development process from concept to final production, meeting calendar deadlines, and managing costs.
Qualifications & Experience
**Experience:** Minimum of 7 + years experience in denim design, including 2-3 years of team management.
Additional Information: Strong technical knowledge of denim fabric, construction, & wash development is essential
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field of study.

**Knowledge/Skills Required** :
+ **Technical Expertise:** Strong technical knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, finishes, garment construction, and sustainable practices.
+ **Design Software:** Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for sketching and creating presentations.
+ **Communication:** Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with various internal teams and external vendors.
+ **Leadership:** Ability to lead fit sessions, provide technical direction, and manage a team of junior designers.
Pay Range:$121,400---$164,300
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
