Home Office based positions:

Position Summary:
The Operational Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in achieving our financial targets. The Analyst will focus on emerging operational trends and advise Operations Leadership on achieving the critical metrics. The Analyst is primarily responsible for identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retail productivity and operations, tracking/prioritizing KPIs throughout the year, and reporting these metrics to Operations Leadership. The Analyst will identify areas of opportunity and guide District/Store Leadership towards achievement of critical KPIs at store, district, and brand level. This role will support the development of Hannaford's $700M+ retail payroll budget and help ensure the integrity of all data used to build this budget. This Analyst will maintain strong relationships with business partners in Retail Scheduling, Retail Services, Human Resources, Category/Merchandising/Pricing, and Finance to ensure delivery of meaningful, accurate reporting.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Deliver financial dashboards and reports that capture the metrics most critical for achieving our Retail Payroll goals, shrink targets, and other operational benchmarks.
+ Continuously reassess the metrics reported, focusing on those that are most critical to support our productivity and profitability goals and prioritizing these goals based on the potential opportunity.
+ Coach retail leaders on operational opportunities at store level.
+ Advise Retail Operations (Directors of Operations and Divisional VPs) on tactics to achieve retail payroll and other operational targets.
+ Maintain weekly, period, and quarterly reporting for various levels of leadership including Department Managers, Store Managers Directors of Operation, and Officers, informing this group on emerging trends and potential risks.
+ Anticipate the evolving needs of the leadership team and adapt reports, dashboards, guidance, and commentary to address personal and situational needs that leaders can apply to specific productivity or performance conversations.
+ Work closely with the brand Finance team and ADUSA partners to ensure that retail-related payroll expenses, hours, and other metrics are accurately reflected in our financial systems.
+ Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, and Compensation functions on pay practices, accounting, pay code set up, time off accruals, pay scales, merit increases, and other aspects of retail payroll while maintaining strict confidentiality.
+ Support Productivity Systems Analyst to complete the process which yields Hannaford's $700M+ retail payroll budget and forecasts, investigating and proposing changes to improve the accuracy of accounts and timing.
+ Assist with the selection, development, and implementation of new productivity systems, queries, and reports to maintain relevancy as new technologies and systems emerge.
Qualifications and Experience:
+ BS degree in technical, operations, or business-related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in a retail grocery leadership role with an extensive understanding of operations.
+ Demonstrable experience extracting data, building reports, and analyzing/interpreting data sets, with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience likely required.
+ Relevant work or educational experience that yields a comprehensive understanding of business analytics and best practices.
+ Experience with applicable tools/systems such as UKG Workforce Dimensions, PowerBI, Microstrategy, etc.
Skills and Abilities:
+ Strong understanding of operations, especially in a retail or supply chain setting.
+ Advanced ability with PC applications (MS Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
+ Demonstrated experience with business insights and analytics tools as well as the ability to build queries to extract data for weekly reporting and ad hoc reporting.
+ Demonstrated ability to interpret data to achieve productivity, payroll, and business objectives.
+ Self-directed and able to motivate others through excellent leadership characteristics, ability to influence without authority.
+ Able to effectively identify and balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong working relationships with Home Office and retail partners.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
+ Flexibility, adaptability and creativity.
+ Aptitude for analytical and strategic thinking.
The Salary Range for this Position is $75,040 - $112,560
