    Our client, a respected healthcare provider in the nursing home industry, is seeking a dedicated Cook - Dietary Aide to join their team. As a Cook - Dietary Aide, you will be an essential part of the Dietary Services Department supporting the well-being of residents and ensuring a high standard of nutritional care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Cook - Dietary Aide

    **Location:** Rice Lake, WI

    **Pay Range:** $20 - $23

    **Shift:** 10:30 am to 7 pm with possible adjustments of about an hour in either direction

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences

    + Assist with dishwashing and support dietary aides when staffing is short

    + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area

    + Wear appropriate attire including scrubs, closed-toe, non-slip shoes, and ensure nails are clean and trimmed

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Prior cooking experience, preferably in an institutional or healthcare setting

    + Food safety certification is highly desirable

    + Ability to work effectively with others during shifts

    + Willingness to perform additional duties such as dishwashing or assisting dietary aides when needed

    + Availability to work every other weekend
