**Our client, a leader in the transportation and rail services industry, is seeking a Train Service Technician (HVAC) to join their team.** As a Train Service Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting train operations and service reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Train Service Technician (HVAC)
**Location:** Orlando, FL
**Pay Range:** $26.00 per hour
What’s the Job?
+ Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, inspections, and repairs on train HVAC systems.
+ Diagnose faults and perform soldering, brazing, and electrical repairs as needed.
+ Carry out daily running maintenance and unscheduled repairs following instructions from the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Maintain compliance with all Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) safety regulations and company standards.
+ Support general maintenance operations including cleaning, forklift use, and facility upkeep.
What’s Needed?
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
+ Strong background in HVAC system maintenance and repair.
+ EPA 608/609 Certification and technical education in HVAC or electrical systems.
+ Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
