    Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Forklift Operator

    **Location:** Middletown, NY

    **Pay Range:** $21.8

    **Shift:** 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and railcars, ensuring proper placement and securement.

    + Utilize RF scanners and other tools to track inventory, manage stock rotation, and maintain accurate records.

    + Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and perform routine equipment checks.

    + Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform minor maintenance tasks.

    + Assist with general warehouse tasks, such as organizing storage areas, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.

    + Ability to operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, etc.).

    + Strong attention to safety and compliance with OSHA standards.

    + Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.

    + Reliable and punctual with a team-oriented attitude.
