    Building Services Technician – Work at a Global Leader!

     

    Attention maintenance and facilities professionals! We’re now hiring a **Building Services Technician** for a **1st shift** opening at **IDEXX in Westbrook, Maine** . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a **reputable, global company** known for innovation and a great work environment. This position pays **$22 per hour** and is **temporary, ongoing through at least January 2026** .

     

    This is a **hands-on facilities role** where you’ll stay active throughout your day, work in a collaborative team environment, and enjoy onsite perks like **parking and a cafeteria** . Apply now!

    Typical daily duties:

    • Perform set-up for corporate functions and meetings (move furniture, desks, tables)

    • Participate in small and large office moves (breakdown/rebuild offices, move totes, computers, etc.)

    • Install, maintain, and repair facility structures (painting, drywall, ceiling tiles, doors, light carpentry)

    • Assist with AV systems and data/telephone wiring repairs

    • Perform light plumbing repairs and respond to emergency maintenance requests

    What we’re looking for:

    • Ability to work safely with hand and power tools and use a tape measure

    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work well with others

    • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn

    • **Preferred:** Basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, or moving experience
