    Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week $33.16 - $49.74 an hour - Level 1 $34.82 - $52.24 an hour - Level 2 $46.66 - $70.00 an hour - Level 3

     

    Boulder Community Health is seeking a Business Informatics Specialist to act as a liaison between business departments and IT, with a focus on Revenue Cycle and Health Information Management workflows. This role supports the analysis, design, implementation, and training of staff using BCH and Epic Connect systems. Candidates should have Rev Cycle experience and will contribute to workflow optimization, operational initiatives, and performance metrics. Key duties include process design, system integration, training, and performance measurement.

    Qualifications For Each Level

     

    Level 1 •Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Healthcare, Business, or Informatics. •Principal Trainer proficiency required for all assigned applications. Must be obtained within 9 months of hire and maintained in good standing while in the position. •Epic certification preferred •1–3 years relevant (in the supported fields) healthcare business experience required. •Healthcare IT and Epic experience preferred. •Background in data management or computer-related fields preferred. Level 2 •All Level 1 requirements. •Master’s degree (MHA, MBA) preferred. •Principal Trainer certification is required for at least one application. •Principal Trainer proficiency required for all other assigned applications. •New proficiencies must be obtained within 9 months and maintained. All applicable proficiencies must remain in good standing while in position. •Project Management Professional certification preferred. Level 3 •All Level 2 requirements. •Project Management Professional certification preferred. •Change management certification preferred. •Principal Trainer certification required for at least one application. •Principal Trainer proficiency required for all other assigned applications. •New proficiencies must be obtained within 4 months and maintained. All applicable proficiencies must remain in good standing while in position. •3–5 years Business Informatics or PT experience required. •3-5 years healthcare IT experience required Responsibilities •Work across multiple enterprise applications. •Lead cross-functional informatics projects. •Collaborate with stakeholders to align systems with business goals. •Promote process standardization and support strategic initiatives. •Provide direct support and training to staff. •Assess and improve documentation and data management processes. •Conduct focus groups and analyze system effectiveness. •Translate needs into informatics solutions. •Collaborate on system designs and complex workflows. •Develop policies and test systems. •Manage LMS content and reporting •Develop and deliver training programs •Coordinate testing and provide go-live support. •Serve as a change agent and communicate process changes. •Drive improvement activities that foster strategic growth •Support metric development and partner with operational stakeholders to use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions, leading to increased efficiency, better customer experiences, and improved profitability About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, Colorado Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado.
