Job Title: Applications Developer 3
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Work Location: Fully Remote
Work Hours: 40 hours/week (No overtime)
Preferred Time Zone: PST business hours
Pay Rate Range: $50 to $55/hr
Purpose of the Role
The Applications Developer 3 will support IT transformation initiatives for a large engineering organization by consolidating multiple intake forms into a unified system. The goal is to streamline processes, reduce redundancy, and enhance the overall user experience through both front-end and back-end development.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the design, development, and coordination of business systems/applications under tight deadlines.
+ Communicate standards and justify technical and scoping decisions to IT management and development teams.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and implement scalable, integrated solutions.
+ Contribute to IT transformation efforts involving Azure, Power Platform, and related technologies.
Candidate Requirements
+ **Experience:** 5–7 years overall in application development.
+ **Education:** No degree required.
+ **Disqualifiers:** Lack of Azure experience.
+ **Preferred Background:** Strong integration and back-end experience; familiarity with MCP or similar tools is a plus.
Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills
1. **Azure Web Apps:** Minimum 5 years of experience.
2. **APIs:** Minimum 5 years of experience.
3. **Power Platform (Flow/Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse):** Minimum 5 years of experience.
