This Senior Director, Global Procurement is responsible for leading and implementing the Global Facilities, Capital, and Logistics Category strategy to meet global and regional business needs. It involves aligning category priorities with procurement and collaborator objectives, driving cost savings, efficiency improvements, and supplier management. The position also represents Global Procurement in key organizational decisions impacting the success and growth of the company. Using expertise in biopharmaceutical procurement processes, the role drives improvements aligned with corporate priorities.
A typical day in this position might look like:
+ Leads category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations.
+ Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.
+ Lead team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks.
+ Provides mentorship and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports and provides leadership examples for the organization.
+ Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.
+ Mentors on procurement technical skills among global procurement team.
This role might be for your if:
+ The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably including significant experience in Pharma/BioPharma.
+ Experience optimally leading global categories teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
+ Builds influential relationships with collaborators and suppliers to get results for Regeneron.
+ The candidate should demonstrate success leading cross-functional teams to get results in Facilities, Capital, and Logistics categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
+ Provide expert insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable efficient negotiations.
+ Uses external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.
+ Individual who is experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to motivate change and improvement.
+ Proven success leading and advising the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
+ Acts as the primary relationship manager to the supplier's global leadership team
+ Experience leading professionals in a multi-national firm including writing performance reviews, setting annual objectives, mentoring, and developing direct reports.
+ Solid understanding with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

$212,900.00 - $354,800.00
