As a Senior Specialist, Global Procurement - R&D you will be a key player in the successful delivery of R&D projects which enable our business growth and fuel our global supplier relationships. You will support the procurement process on a project specific basis, including requirements gathering and contract execution by working closely with stakeholders and suppliers. Your ability to negotiate, manage supplier relationships and monitor the supply chain will be critical to the success of Regeneron's continued investment in research programs which bring life changing medicines to our patients.
As a Senior Specialist in Global Procurement, a typical day may include:
+ Supporting the definition and implementation of the Global Category strategies to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.
+ Working closely with stakeholders to support discussions related to the Global Clinical Categories and aligning category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.
+ Supporting negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the Global Clinical Categories as assigned.
+ Helping to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
+ Participating in organizational decisions in the Global Clinical categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the category team.
+ Supports category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
+ Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.
This role may be for you if you have:
+ Success supporting cross-functional teams to drive results in Global Clinical categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization.
+ Ability to leverage expereince to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
+ Insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
+ Ability to use external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.
+ Individual who is experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to drive change and improvement.
+ Demonstrated success supporting the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
To be considered for this role you must posses a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma. Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other). Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

$82,600.00 - $134,800.00
