Amazon MGM Studios is home to tremendous comedy, drama, and IP based content including The Marvelous Maisel, Swarm, Harlem, Fallout, American Fiction, The Boys, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Red White & Royal Blue, Daisy Jones & The Six, Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Boys in the Boat, Jack Reacher, Jack Ryan. In this role, you will support the Head of Comedy & Drama TV and a Senior Development Executive of Comedy & Drama TV across development and production. This includes heavy scheduling, rolling calls, managing submission logs, and supporting departmental functions for each team. You will gain a first-hand look at Studio TV development.
Key job responsibilities
This role includes heavy scheduling, call volume & rolling calls, heavy travel organization, expenses, management of databases, submission logs, and select creative evaluation. The successful candidate will be able to effectively prioritize, manage multiple deadlines and competing needs, and have excellent communication with their executives to help balance workload between the two desks. They should have an interest in TV development and a deep understanding of the Prime Video slate and the current television landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience assessing industry talent and trends
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience as an assistant in an unscripted department at an agency, studio or unscripted production company
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of studio or production company assistant, or 1+ years of creative executive experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $79,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
