    Adecco is helping to hire for a **Communications Specialist** with a **Leader in Energy Delivery Services** , located in **Chicago!** This is a **contract** role, offering a **hybrid** schedule and a great way to get your foot in the door with an Industry Leader.     + **Pay:** $55/hr

    + **Shift/Hours:**   Monday – Friday (9am-5pm)

    Job Description:

    In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing internal/external communications programs. You will serve as a key point of contact to ensure effective communication of corporate goals and initiatives, fostering a well-informed workforce and maintaining strong relationships with local press and communities.

    Essential Duties:

    • Ensure effective communication of corporate goals and initiatives to employees.

    • Produce accurate, compelling, and editorially proficient written communications.

    • Oversee a variety of communication tasks to support leadership, including talking points, short presentations, and online messages.

    • Write press releases, assist in development of social media posts, create PowerPoint decks, and help wit executive talking points.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of Communications experience

    • BA/MA in Communications, Journalism, or English

    • Excellent organizational and presentation skills

    • Proficient in MS Suite

    **Pay Details:** $55.00 per hour
