Shift: We have some flexibility on hours, but 8:00-5:00 with an hour lunch.

Pay: $28-29 an hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer / Machinist with a strong background in operating and programming Haas CNC equipment, including lathes, vertical mills, and 5-axis machines. The ideal candidate is proficient in Fusion 360 (preferred), with working knowledge of Solidworks and/or MasterCam. This individual will support production by programming, setting up CNC machinery, completing machining jobs, and is also expected to assist in training other machinists and programmers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and set up Haas CNC lathes, mills, and 5-axis machines for both prototype and production jobs.

• Complete manufacturing jobs from setup through final machining, ensuring quality and timeliness.

• Use Fusion 360 to create and modify toolpaths; experience with Solidworks or MasterCam is acceptable.

• Select appropriate tooling, define work holding methods, and optimize feeds and speeds for each job.

• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks using standard metrology tools and CMM equipment.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with engineering and production planning to ensure job readiness and efficiency.

• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas in accordance with company policies.

• Assist in training and mentoring CNC operators, machinists, and junior programmers.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming and machining experience with Haas CNC equipment.

• Proficiency in Fusion 360 CAM; working knowledge of Solidworks or MasterCam is a plus.

• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, work holding, and precision machining techniques.

• Experience with 5-axis machine setup and programming.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.

• Familiarity with quality assurance practices and inspection equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience machining aerospace or defense-related components.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems.

• Effective communication skills and ability to train others.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Salary is $28-$29 per hour

**Pay Details:** $28.00 to $29.00 per hour
