Packaging Associate

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the Packaging Associate is responsible for inspecting, assembling, and packaging consumable accessories into designated bags and boxes. This role utilizes counting scales, box taping machines, labeling machines, and other specialized jigs, packaging, and auto-bagging equipment to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Support the company’s **Journey to Zero** safety vision by working safely and submitting safety observations.
+ Package materials according to pre-set instructions (API and BOM) while meeting established quality and time standards.
+ Perform quality checks on raw parts and finished packages; remove defective items.
+ Maintain proper housekeeping and adhere to PPE requirements.
+ Record accurate production and quality data.
+ Contribute to team success by submitting improvement ideas, identifying potential issues, and providing feedback on methods.
+ Transport packaged products from the packaging area to the warehouse.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.
+ Cross-train and support other areas as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills required.
+ Detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational and motivational skills.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
+ Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to job duties and safety.
**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
