Maintenance Utility Clerk

Under supervision from the Maintenance Supervisor, operate forklift and or walkie rider equipment to load and unload pallets onto/off of trailers, change forklift batteries, maintain corrugated balers, and clean and inspect batteries as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Operate forklift to load and unload trailers, perform forklift battery changes, maintain corrugate balers, clean and inspect batteries as necessary (requires the use of PPE while working with battery acid).
+ Maintain positive customer service approach
+ Plan, track, and monitor flow of work to be completed
+ Coordinate and communicate with the next shift operator
+ Maintain quality and accuracy by adhering to established policies and procedures
+ Adhere to safety procedures
+ Manually sort pallets distinguishing between good and bad, maintain a clean work area
+ Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in a warehouse environment, on a concrete floor all day.
Requires continuous, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is necessary.
Frequently reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, talking, hearing (audio equipment such as a radio or telephone), handling objects with hands and lifting to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
**Pay Details:** $16.50 per hour
