Environmental Sampling Technician

We are looking to add an Environmental Sampling Technician that will be collecting stormwater samples from various industrial facilities in the area. This role will require some local travel and will need flexibility with the hours and being on-call work since the work is weather dependent (i.e. you are only able to collect rainwater when it rains).
This role is currently expected to be roughly 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
+ Collect stormwater samples from industrial facilities for inspection and testing.
+ Submit results and deliver samples to the laboratory.
+ Communicate with the data analyst in real-time via a smartphone application while collecting samples.
+ Travel occasionally to other states within the region and undertake overnight trips.
+ Collaborate with Project Managers to gain experience in Industrial Hygiene, Remediation, EH&S, or Due Diligence teams.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
+ Willingness to travel and work outside regular business hours.
+ Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Work Environment
This position involves conducting water samples for a long-term contract across various locations throughout Ohio & surrounding states. Work can include up to 5 sites per day, traveling in a company vehicle. Required to work when it rains in sample area, which may occur outside regular business hours.
The role averages about 30 hours per week, with on-site work dependent on rainfall.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
