Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

As a Project Architect, you will develop schematic designs, communicate with client representatives, and direct and coordinate the production of construction documents. You will work closely with engineering consultants throughout all phases of the project, lead project coordination meetings, and perform construction administration duties. Additionally, you will participate in marketing efforts, including attending presentations to prospective clients, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

+ Lead project coordination meetings.

+ Perform construction administration duties.

+ Participate in marketing efforts and attend presentations to prospective clients.

+ Mentor and guide junior staff.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit.

+ Experience in construction documentation.

+ Project management skills.

+ Possession of a professional degree in Architecture.

+ 5+ years of related experience.

+ Familiarity with building codes, specifications, and engineering systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Licensure as a registered architect is a plus.

+ Experience in Care or Multi-Family projects is preferred.

+ Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Teams.

+ Experience with design and construction documentation.

Work Environment

The position requires onsite work for the first six months, with the possibility of remote work thereafter. The work environment specializes in multi-family, hospitality, and living facilities. The team consists of 27 individuals working out of the Louisville office. The company offers a great team environment with flexible hours, three weeks of vacation, and opportunities for professional development and affiliations. After six months, there is potential for remote work, though candidates must be local to Louisville.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
