    As a Medical Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and guests at the primary care office. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.

    Responsibilities

    + Greet and assist patients and guests upon arrival at the primary care office.

    + Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout their healthcare journey.

    + Perform phlebotomy and other medical assisting duties as required.

    + Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

    + Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for patients.

    + Maintain organized records and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant.

    + Strong phlebotomy skills.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology.

    + Experience in patient care.

    + Customer service skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certified Medical Assistant - preferred but not required.

    + eCW EMR experience preferred.

    + Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

    + Ability to take initiative and work independently.

    + Strong organizational skills.

    + Team player and flexible.

    Work Environment

    This position is 100% onsite in a team-environment. The clinic operates Monday through Sunday, with shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 8pm. The team consists of 6 physician providers and 7 medical assistants.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loxahatchee Groves, Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
