    Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a crucial role in processing and filling prescription orders. You will be responsible for preparing prescriptions for pharmacist verification, as well as packing and shipping completed orders to patients. This position requires you to maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units and replenish work station supplies as needed. You will work within multiple computer systems and respond to questions or provide specific medication details and clinical information.

    Responsibilities

    + Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification.

    + Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients.

    + Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.

    + Replenish work station supplies for filling prescriptions, including vials, caps, and labels.

    + Work within multiple computer systems simultaneously.

    + Respond to questions or provide specific medication details and clinical information.

    + Collaborate with the team to fill an average of 50,000 prescriptions per day during the evening shift.

    Essential Skills

    + Pharmacy technician license in New Jersey.

    + Experience in pharmacy production and inventory management.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PTCB or CPhT certification preferred.

    + Experience with pharmacy production lines and fulfillment processes.

    + Willingness to upskill and train in various areas of pharmacy operations.

    Work Environment

    This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week from Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off. The shift is from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary due to business needs. The role requires standing for the entire shift and involves medication filling, not just data entry. You must be comfortable lifting boxes weighing up to 40+ lbs and pushing or lifting lighter boxes. The fast-paced, high-volume environment demands accuracy and efficiency to deliver life-saving medications. Technicians rotate between different picking stations, including replenishments, manual puck stations, bottle counting with Kerby machines, and tray and spatula filling stations with Yuyama machines. There is also an offline station for troubleshooting within the pharmacy.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
