Electrical Designer – NYC | Hybrid Schedule

We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Designer to lead complex building systems projects across lighting, power, and distribution. You’ll work independently and alongside senior engineers to shape high-performance environments—from concept through delivery.
What You’ll Do:
+ Own the design of electrical systems using company standards and project-specific logic
+ Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and ComCheck lighting compliance
+ Coordinate layouts for advanced electrical rooms and complex systems
+ Apply NEC, NFPA, and energy codes with fluency
+ Lead documentation and attend client-facing meetings
+ Review shop drawings and provide redlines and mentorship to junior engineers
+ Support onboarding and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
What You Bring:
+ Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
+ 4+ years of electrical design experience across building types
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
+ Expertise in lighting, power, and systems design packages
+ Strong communication and coordination skills
+ Familiarity with EIT or PE certifications (preferred)
+ Ability to mentor and review junior staff

+ Hybrid schedule: 1–2 days remote

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
