Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for research participants, sponsors, and regulatory agencies. The coordinator will manage studies from startup through close-out and ensure compliance with research protocols while maintaining patient safety and data integrity.
Responsibilities
+ Act as the primary contact with research participants, sponsors, and regulatory agencies.
+ Coordinate studies from startup through close-out.
+ Determine eligibility of study participants and gather consent according to protocol.
+ Assist in developing recruitment strategies.
+ Coordinate collection and processing of study specimens.
+ Collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects.
+ Manage research project databases and develop study-related documents.
+ Ensure compliance with research protocols and audit case report forms for accuracy.
+ Prepare regulatory submissions and ensure completion of Institutional Review Board renewals.
+ Assemble study kits for visits and monitor scheduling of procedures and charges.
+ Attend monitoring meetings with sponsors and act as the primary contact.
+ Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to study budgets.
+ Resolve billing issues in collaboration with finance and management staff.
+ Interact regularly with the principal investigator to ensure patient safety and proper study conduct.
+ Ensure essential documentation and recording of patient and research data.
+ Participate in monitor visits and regulatory audits.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
+ Experience with clinical research trials.
+ Hands-on experience with complex clinical trials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with chart review and pre-screening patients.
+ Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
+ Ability to work patient-facing and conduct data tasks from home after training.
Work Environment
This position is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite with the potential for 1 flex day. Initially slated as a 6-month contract, there is an opportunity for direct hire based on performance. You will have the chance to work with one of the most renowned academic institutions in the US.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
