A full-service Architecture and Interior Design firm located in the Loop is looking to add an Interior Designer to their team!
Job Description:
+ Responsible for specific technical and design aspects of assigned major projects, including investigating, evaluating, and recommending solutions that fit the client’s needs
+ Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E); conduct research and gather pricing, specifications, and lead times
+ Coordinate with consultants and FF&E dealers; assist in developing FF&E specifications
+ Develop designs aligned with client goals, contributing to design development phases
+ Create plans, 3D renderings, presentation drawings, finish boards, and other visual materials
+ Participate in client meetings and collect programming data
+ Support project managers as needed
+ Conduct field surveys and document existing conditions; create Revit models
+ Produce construction document (CD) sets in accordance with established drawing standards
+ Participate in submittal processes, addenda sketches, drawing revisions, and permitting
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
+ 1+ years of post-graduate experience
+ Previous experience working on educational, municipal , workplace or public projects is preferred
+ Proficiency in Revit required
+ Some FF&E experience is required
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/hr.
