    Job Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish)

     

    First Shift

    Responsibilities

    + Schedule patients for office/clinic visits.

    + Prepare rooms with required materials for visits.

    + Room patients and assist with their needs.

    + Work alongside one provider with an additional Medical Assistant.

    + Take vitals, weight, height, blood pressure, and medical history.

    + Collaborate with patients' families or caregivers for information collection.

    + Enter all data into the EMR system.

    + Schedule follow-ups as needed.

    + Occasionally float to another location if short-staffed, with prior notification.

    + Be flexible with hours, staying later if necessary to assist providers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

    + Proficiency in medical assisting and immediate care.

    + Bilingual in Spanish and English.

    + Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to give reports and debrief to medical professionals.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Medical Assistant Certification required.

    + Externship or work experience in immediate care or urgent care.

    + Entry-level Medical Assistants right out of schooling/certification will be considered.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
