    Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Technician to support engineering operations by maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and automated equipment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, experience in industrial environments, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine and corrective maintenance and upgrades on automated equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical components.

    + Conduct diagnostics to identify root causes of equipment issues.

    + Support installation, alignment, and calibration of machinery.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, upgrades, troubleshooting, and PLC edits.

    + Collaborate with teams to improve equipment reliability.

    + Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 2–3+ years of experience in industrial automation, mechanical troubleshooting, or electrical troubleshooting.

    + Strong knowledge of servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

    + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Entry-level candidates with an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree and hands-on internship experience are welcome.

    + Experience with PLCs and HMIs is a plus, particularly with Allen Bradley systems.

    + Experience working in a manufacturing setting with automated equipment.

    + Familiarity with AutoCAD, project scheduling, and schematic installation.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a clean manufacturing and office environment, requiring adherence to hygiene standards such as wearing hair nets due to proximity to food packaging products. Employees are provided with structured learning and development opportunities to enhance their skills and advance their careers. The position offers 2 weeks of paid time off, 6 sick days, and is not part of a union.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
