    Embedded Security EngineerOverview:

    We are looking for a talented engineer to lead the development of a virtual testing framework for safety-critical Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in a simulated environment. This role is central to enabling scalable, automated validation of embedded systems using virtual microcontroller platforms and cloud infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, build, and maintain an automated testing framework for virtual ECUs in a simulated environment.

    + Configure and instantiate virtual ECU environments using platforms such as Corellium and qEmu to emulate microcontrollers.

    + Integrate virtual models of internal and external MCU peripherals (e.g., Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, GPIO) to replicate real hardware behavior.

    + Develop automated test cases and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans for safety-critical ECUs.

    + Deploy and manage the testing infrastructure within AWS environment, including EC2 instance provisioning and tool setup for automated test execution.

    + Integrate the virtual test framework into CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous validation and daily test reporting.

    + Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to ensure high fidelity between virtual and physical ECU environments.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

    + Expert-level proficiency in C or C++ programming.

    + Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers, especially ARM Cortex-M7 and automotive processors like NXP S32K/G series.

    + Strong understanding of communication protocols including SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, and TCP/UDP.

    + Hands-on experience with hardware emulation or simulation platforms such as Corellium or qEmu.

    + Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for test automation and SDK integration.

    + Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles for low-level debugging.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS.

    + Familiarity with integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.

    + Experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS and build systems like Bazel.

    + Understanding of electronics test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) and hardware debugging interfaces like JTAG.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
